It means my problems really began when I I put down the drinkā¦
In a state of abstinence from alcohol I become restless, irritable and discontentā¦

These are some of the bedevilments an alcoholic experiences in a state of abstinence from his so called solution to life – alcohol.
An extremely dysfunctional way of living indeedā¦

How are we to overcome this hopeless situation?ā¦
