These are the things we will get drunk over…
If we stay in these too long we will drink…

One fundamental fact about your disease that most Alcoholics forget is this…
Just because you are in recovery does not mean your alcoholism has vanished.
Once you are sober you are up against a disease that is progressive in nature…
A very subtle foe who lies in waiting gaining strength and momentum every day…
This subtle foe will, very slowly, take control of you through your unmanageability one piece at a time…
One resentment at a time…
One act of dishonesty at a time…
One act of selfishness at a time…
One act of controlling everything at a time…
This is the nature of the beast…
To ignore this fact is to perish…
Don’t believe this?

Or continue to do nothing…
100% of nothing is nothing…
100% of half measures is nothing…
100% effort to work the spiritual program of action is called recovery!
